about me

I’m Lauren (she/her), a writer/editor and designer based in New York City.

I graduated from NYU with a B.A. in Fiction, and have been self-employed ever since, working primarily with authors on book-related projects, like editing books, designing marketing materials for books, conceptualizing book covers, and branding authors for print and online.

In the past five years, I’ve become heavily involved in politics, working on both paid and unpaid projects to help progressive groups and politicians get funding and get elected. I primarily help campaigns with design and branding, and have worked on websites, print and digital layouts, social graphics, logos, and videos. Now, I split my time between books and politics and other clients who do interesting work. I love to help people get their ideas across clearly, whether that be with words, graphics, or both.
